My attempt at TRX

TRX stands for Total Body Resistance Exercise. At first glance it seems simple enough, but don't let looks deceive you. The U.S. Navy designed this training tool for its special Sea, Air and Land (SEAL) forces while they were deployed for extended periods. The elite teams needed something portable and highly effective to maintain their fitness levels in the field. If it worked for the the Marines, it's worth a shot right?

I do my TRX classes with Reema Chanco, she's pretty cool. (The first pic is a pic of the TRX room in her place in San Miguel village) I've gone thrice and so far, I'm lovin' it. It's challenging and mind you the day after my first class I felt like a bulldozer ran over me. In a good way though! It's carrying your own body weight so in my case, that's a lot. (And I hope that means it'll be effective). It's also not boring because there are a gazillion different exercises that can be done. I highly recommend it its an entertaining class and it makes the one hour go by real quick.
